Profile
Julio holds a Master’s degree in business law and a Master 2 in applied taxation from the University of Douala, as well as a Master 2 in business litigation and arbitration from the Catholic University of Central Africa in Yaoundé.
He was admitted to the Kinshasa/Matete Bar in 2019 and is a tax expert accredited under number CF 276 by the Council of Ministers of the Central African Economic Union. These credentials support his practice across the six CEMAC countries and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Julio focuses on legal and tax matters involving OHADA business law, CEMAC regulation, energy, mining, banking, insurance, investment, customs and litigation. His previous experience includes PricewaterhouseCoopers in Cameroon, Centurion Law Group in South Africa and Congo-Brazzaville, and Kayudi Misamu Law Firm in the DRC. Alongside his work with Kalegas, he coordinates CMJ & Partners in Congo-Brazzaville.
